How to switch from Mutiny to GetIntent

Switching from Mutiny to GetIntent means adding one script tag and redoing your setup in GetIntent: you add the script, choose which elements to personalize, recreate your segments as rules, and optionally import your target account list. There is no automatic importer, so experiences built in Mutiny are recreated, not copied.

The Bottom Line

Recommended approach: Run GetIntent alongside Mutiny on a few pages first, measure it against your original page, and only remove the Mutiny snippet once you are satisfied.

What carries over

  • Your existing landing pages: GetIntent personalizes them in place, nothing is rebuilt.
  • Your target account list, if you export it as CSV or sync it from HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Your UTM and campaign structure: GetIntent reads the same UTM parameters your ads already use.

What does not carry over

  • Experiences, segments and copy variants built in Mutiny. There is no importer; you recreate them as rules and AI instructions.
  • Historical Mutiny analytics and reports. Export anything you need before your contract ends.
  • Microsites hosted by Mutiny. GetIntent account pages can be rebuilt from templates, but not imported.
  • Mutiny’s sales engagement signals. GetIntent does not provide an equivalent sales-alert workflow.

Step-by-step migration

  1. 1

    Step 1

Create an account and add your site

Sign up on the free plan and add your domain. GetIntent creates a site with a unique Site ID.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Install the script tag

Add the GetIntent script before the closing body tag on the pages you want to personalize. It loads asynchronously. You can leave the Mutiny snippet in place while you evaluate.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Choose the elements to personalize

Use Scan My Site to auto-detect headlines, CTAs and descriptions, or the Visual Selector Picker to click the exact elements. Do not let both tools rewrite the same element: pause the matching Mutiny experience on pages you test.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Recreate your segments as rules

For each Mutiny segment that maps to a campaign, create a rule that matches UTM parameters (for example utm_campaign = enterprise) with a short instruction for the AI. Rules have priorities and can combine.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Import your target accounts

In Dashboard > Accounts, import a CSV with domain, company name, industry, employee range, tier and custom instructions, or connect HubSpot or Salesforce. Turn on account matching with the built-in company lookup, or Clearbit or 6sense with your own API key.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Set your brand voice

Add tone, preferred and restricted keywords so generated copy follows your brand guidelines.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Track conversions

Define conversion goals in Dashboard > Conversions by clicking the button or link to track, or send events and values through the JavaScript API.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Measure against your original page

By default a holdout group sees your original page, so the personalized version is measured against it. On Pro plans and above you can also create experiments with several variants and a confidence level (95% by default).

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Remove the Mutiny snippet

When you are satisfied with the results, remove the Mutiny script from your pages and end the subscription according to your contract terms.

Switching from Mutiny: common questions

Can GetIntent import my Mutiny experiences?

No. There is no importer. You recreate segments as UTM-based rules and AI instructions; the AI writes the copy variants, so you do not rewrite each variant by hand.

Do I need Salesforce to use GetIntent?

No. GetIntent works from URL parameters, referrer and search intent. Salesforce and HubSpot are optional sources for target account data.

Can I run GetIntent and Mutiny at the same time?

Yes, as long as they do not rewrite the same elements on the same page. Pause the overlapping Mutiny experience while you test.

What does GetIntent cost?

There is a free plan with 5 pages and 25 AI personalizations a month. Paid plans start at €69/month (US$74.52).
